Shipping Information
We at Michelli Backgammon, like virtually every web-merchant, make certain assumptions based upon information provided by our customers as to which shipping method to utilize. That said, our goal is NOT to profit from shipping and/or handling costs. Accordingly, if the amount you are charged for shipping is more than the actual cost to ship your order, you will be issued a refund for the excess shipping charges. Normally, the credit will be applied towards your credit card on the day following the shipment of your product.
A word to our International Customers: Michelli Backgammon has numerous customers in the United Kingdom and throughout Europe. Given that we are a California-based firm, the cost to ship to Europe would be prohibitive were it not for U.S. Postal Service Priority Mail. Typically shipping costs to Europe or the United Kingdom via Priority Mail are one-third the cost of other shippers. Please keep in mind that the typical delivery time to Europe and the United Kingdom is 10-days during peak season and 8-days during off-peak season.
International Customers should also be aware that a Value Added Tax ("VAT") may or may not be added to your order upon entry into the country of delivery. VAT, if any, is calculated on the Country of Manufacture, Turkey, and the declared value of the product as stated on the Customs Manifest.
